Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve

Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve protects 2 500 hectares (6 200 acres) of Big Five wilderness, and offers guests a unique African safari experience with the chance to see the rare and endangered black rhino. The reserve is a designated rhino Intensive Protection Zone (IPZ), and its monitoring and breeding programme has seen the black rhino population flourish.

Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve is home to a diverse concentration of wildlife. Other than the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, white and black rhino), guests can expect to come across giraffe, zebra, antelope, smaller mammals and numerous birds. The Masuwe River winds its way through the landscape, and attracts over 400 species of birds to its banks.

Game drives, on open safari vehicles and led by expert field guides, head into the reserve each morning and evening. They traverse its basalt plains, open grasslands and teak forests to afford guests as many different wildlife sightings as possible.
