Nine suites at Tinga Lodge combine classic safari romance with contemporary comfort. Each features a private plunge pool, fireplace, and elevated deck overlooking the Sabie River. Hippos graze on the banks at dusk, buffalo herds cross at dawn - watch the wilderness unfold whilst everyone finds their perfect safari pace together.

The hospitality in the lodge was top notch and our room was one of the most beautiful I’ve ever stayed in. Hopefully I can come back in the future! 

We were totally blown away when we pulled up in front of the beautiful and welcoming Lion Sands. They had a sweet, welcoming, saying on the bed, and the room was completely filled with whatever amenities we needed.

The accommodations and whole river lodge are beautiful. We enjoyed the pool, the bar area, our gorgeous room and bath tub, and the many snacks and meals served at the lodge.

The lodge is stunning, meticulously maintained, and offers every amenity you could possibly need. We stayed in a river suite at the far end of the lodge, which was incredibly private, beautifully designed, and spotless.

Everything is designed with care, the bed super comfortable and the bathroom plus outdoor shower amazing. Not to mention the private terrace and plunge pool overlooking the water hole.

The suite we stayed in was magnificent, so roomy and cozy. It had quite literally everything we needed… The heated bathroom floor and pillow preferences were definitely a nice touch!

The family suite with it’s own pool and vehicle for game drives was perfect, our room and the main lodge were beautiful, great architecture and interiors, attention to detail throughout is off the scale.

It was a privilege to stay here and be pampered by the wonderful staff. The rooms are luxurious, with the most comfortable king size beds. We loved the amenities provided and the little touches of care and kindness.

We loved our 2 nights at this beautiful and very stylish boutique hotel! Feels like staying in your best friend’s house. Lovely room with comfortable bed, huge rainshower, great bathroom amenities and large balcony.

The bed and linens were top notch. We had a little private courtyard with a table and surrounded by greenery.
